As a destination wedding photographer, I am so humbled to visit so many beautiful countries capturing wonderful couples. I recently visited Copenhagen and met with the wonderful Trang and Bjarke. They legally married in Copenhagen City Hall the week prior to us meeting, but this didn't stop them from getting to enjoy their wedding attire again. Trang stunned in a Vietnamese wedding dress / jumpsuit made with traditional material sent over from her mother in Vietnam. Paired with a bold pink lip and huge smile she radiated happiness and elegance.
It was a cold winters morning but with less tourists, the newlyweds strolled along the iconic Nyhavn canal, vibrant colours of the buildings painted a perfect scene for their candid moments to be captured. We walked and talked which relaxed Trang and Bjarke into their photos, allowing them to embrace, laugh, spin and have fun with it.
Passing along many of the alluring cafes and restaurants including the iconic yellow building of Nyhavn 17 and the distinct blue of Nyhavn Faergekro, each building has it's own character and story, it was such a privilege to photograph love surrounded by such a picturesque setting.
I love like-minded couples seeking adventure within their love story, this is where, as a destination wedding photographer I feel we would be super compatible having married my husband on a remote snowy Norwegian Fjord.
